Forever Birds. Always Evolving.
This one came together without a plan and that’s kind of the point.
I’ve been experimenting with different mediums and styles, letting creativity lead instead of overthinking it. What came out is this stylized bird, somewhere between a swan and a duck, or maybe something else entirely. I’m not even sure, and I like it that way.
This is an original, one-of-one artwork made with Oil Pastels and Posca markers on high-quality matte photo paper. The mixed media gives it depth, movement, and a slightly unexpected feel. It measures 4" x 6", small but full of character.
There is only one original of this piece. It’s numbered as such and signed WGB (Whispering Go Birds). Once it’s gone, it’s gone. If prints ever exist, they’ll only come from a scan of this original, never another hand-made version.
I’ll always draw birds. Lately, I’m letting them be whatever they want to be.
